Hello everyone,
I decided to start this blog Beauty Scene as a way for me to express myself, tell you all about me and my life and see who wants to listen. Since I have enjoyed beginning my Instagram account @beauty_scene_ I thought that it would be nice for me to talk about things and expand my noughts and ideas into the form of a blog. Just so you know, I have never done anything like this before so if my account isn't perfect, or doesn't look quite right- it's because I am still learning how this whole thing works!
I am going to write about things that interest me; what I enjoy writing about; what I like to read about; just my life basically... Anything I want to share and anything you want to hear my opinion on.
First of all, so you can all get to know me a little better- I've decided to share 10 facts with you about myself:
1- I love makeup... Borderline obsession, but I don't have a large disposable income for it to become an obsession just yet.
2- I love dance, and do a lot of it too... I find it is an exciting and creative way to release some energy and spend time with some really lovely people.
3- My lucky number is thirteen... Contraversial I know, but it works for me.
4- my favourite colour is yellow- despite the whole pink background- as it is a bright and cheerful colour (such a cliché I know)!
5- I Ike inspirational quotes, and may often be sharing the odd few with you at the end of my blogs.
6- I adore animals...completely and utterly adore them and I want to be a veterinary surgeon.
7- I enjoy baking when I can ever find the time, however I get distracted and bored fairly easily so long recipes are not to my liking- this probably isn't helped by the fact that I am rather messy when I cook.
8- I have fairly bad skin, and am interested in anything and everything that will help me. But just in general I adore all beauty products (butters, creams, scrubs, masks, lotions and potions.. Almost everything) and my favourite brand is probably Soap and Glory because of how amazing their products smell.
9- I am rather clumsy- often spilling things, falling over or stumbling and pretending it was the carpet's fault (yes we all do it and yes everyone else can tell it most certainly wasn't the carpet), but life is more fun when you are clumsy I suppose especially as you have an excuse to buy more clothes due to stains you may have caused on your previous outfit... See? Every cloud has a silver lining...
10- My dream is to go to Africa and volunteer out on an animal reserve and spend a few months doing research about the wildlife there and helping animals in need.
